Problem:

Customer’s Centrex contract was expiring and they needed help in negotiating the new contract.

Solution:

This customer had 600 Centrex lines. After analyzing their current system and requirements, we determined they were paying for over six times the capacity that was needed to support their voice traffic. We recommended that they pursue installing a system capable of being networked and consolidate all calls across a handful of PRI’s, which would save them $10,000.00 per month. Since they did not have the capital funds to invest in a new system, we recommended a re-design of the current system which resulted in the removal of over 100 dedicated phone lines, saving approximately $78,000.00 per year. During this process, we discovered over $42,000.00 per year in abandoned data circuits that were removed.
