Client #1
Problem:
This client’s contract with their local and long distance service provider was expiring. They suspected that they had been overcharged for the services they had contracted for. A local auditing company wanted 50% of the savings over the term of the new contract. The fee was a problem for two reasons: 1) without knowing the extent of the overcharges it was impossible to anticipate the fee and 2) how to define “savings.”
Solution:
We proposed completing a detailed review of the billing records for a fee of $2,500.00 or 25% of the credit due to the district, whichever would be less.
Result:
The client was issued a credit of $9,568.21.
